Well, this summer was fast and fun, but I'm not done yet. I'm excited to unveil my fall schedule, packed with all kinds of Sip n' Signs at wineries, breweries, and bookstores. I'm taking a little tour through NH and MA in November, then ending up at the prestigious Bangor Authors Fair in December. It's been so cool to meet other authors, librarians, and book lovers on this journey. so, if you're a fan of the books and movie and are in the area, come have a drink or a chat!

We’re going gangbusters this Saturday for the Maine Book & Print Fest in Waterville! I’ll be in the Waterville Creates Building lobby from 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. selling books. Then, I’ll be on the Fantasy and Romantasy author panel from 12:30 p.m. in a Waterville Creates classroom (ask staff at the front desk which one). Then at 1:45 p.m. my fellow Irish lass, Jennifer Comeau and I will host our Irish folklore in Maine fiction workshop “Selkies and Spells” in the Ticonic classroom until 2:45 pm. It’s looking like it will be a beautiful day! Come on by!    Join me and Kelly of The Tiny Bookshop (The Tiniest Bookshop in the Midcoast!) this Friday from noon to 2 p.m. I'll be on hand chat with visitors about Midcoast Maine's history in the 1920s, including hidden speakeasies, Maine lobstermen, and rumrunners, as well as Irish folklore, including selkies (seals that can shapeshift into humans) in Penobscot Bay.
I'm gearing up to go around the state and New England this summer. Come join me for journey!  I'm gearing up for my spring/summer event tour--come clink a glass with me and learn about Prohibition in Maine in the 1920s.  It's been a wonderful book tour this fall and this will be my last event for 2025. Gonna take a break until Spring, so if you're in Portland, please stop by!  I'm also going to have this custom room box with me. I made it to portray the root cellar in my novel that has a false wall to hold illicit contraband. Come check it out!  I will be at the annual Holiday Market, which will offer a wide variety of merchandise from the useful to the unusual including vintage household goods, seasonal decorations, hand crafts, farm products and delectable sweet and savory baked goods. I'll be there chatting away and signing books too!  So. Many. Events to share this week! K. Stephens (The Ghost Trap & By the Dark o’ the Moon) is headed to Orono next Thursday for a Sip & Sign at The Store Ampersand Join us for a wine tasting, snacks, laughs and to hear more about K's book. Bring your friends or make new ones! While you don't have to read the book ahead, if you WANT to copies are available at The Store now! #readmorebooks #SipandSign #oronomaine #maineauthor .  It’s the perfect combo of a wine tasting, hors d’oevres, a bit of a literary chat (no reading to the audience) and a fun way to meet people. Here are some pics of our last event in Waterville.
